Established in 1863, the University of Massachusetts is an open research university located in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA. UMass Amherst ranked 24th among public universities in the US. The University of Massachusetts Amherst is a leading research university serving more than 28,000 students, from over 85 nations and 49 US States.
