Griffith University is one of the best-known research universities in Queensland, Australia. The university was established in the year 1971 but it opened its door for students in the year 1975. Griffith is the first and foremost university to introduce environmental science and Asian studies in Australia.
The university has gotten its name from Sir Samuel Walker Griffith who is an eminent personality of Australia. He was formerly the Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia and has played an important role in framing the Australian Constitution.
