MSc Management and Business Analytics course introduces students to the world of ‘big data’ and the impact it is having within businesses across the globe
In the first semester, it will shape students leadership and management skills to become an effective 21st-century manager, gaining an excellent understanding of the core subjects, enabling them to put theory and contemporary thinking into practice
During the second semester, students will understand the value of business analytics within an organization, its impact on decision-making and the problems faced in interpreting big data. They will face practical challenges and focus on applying descriptive statistics to analyze real-world data. Students will be developing skills within:
- quantitative methods for data analysis
- understand the business analytics process
- acquire the knowledge to identify machine learning models to predict uncertain events in a business environment
Finally, in the third semester, students choose an experiential project. With the opportunity to use their skills in a real-world setting, they can choose from completing a consultancy experience project, an internship experience project, a business research project or a global experience project
If students start their Masters in September they can apply for the two-year option where they can add a year’s work placement onto their course and the fees for the second year would be increased to £16,885 from the initial fees of £15,500

Bachelors	50.0% Applicant must have three and four-year Bachelors degrees with 55% (2.2) from other recognized universities or, Applicants with Grades of 50% (2.2) from the University of Mumbai, the University of Kolkata and University of Delhi are also accepted or, Applicants will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honors degree (2.2 or above) or, Applicants with grades of 50%+ in Masters degree from recognized universities in India
Exams	IELTS: 6.5 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component PTE: 62 62 (with no less than 51 in any component)
Additional info	To meet the University’s language requirements students will need one of the following: A degree from the following universities: The University of Mumbai The University of Delhi The University of Calcutta The University of Bangalore The University of Pune The University of Chennai/Madras Anna University Osmania University The University of Goa OR; Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) with 70/100 (70%) or 160/200 (80%)
