  • MSc FinTech and Financial Markets degree are designed to provide students with an understanding of contemporary issues and conceptual frameworks used to adopt financial technology in organisations. They will build a solid foundation of global financial markets, principles of FinTech and Blockchain as well as coding and data analytics for finance and FinTech
  • Students will be applying knowledge, tools, and techniques to resolve issues in new and diverse situations within the finance disciplines. They will also evaluate the rigor and validity of published research, and assess its relevance to the practice of finance
  • This course aims to:
    • develop students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of  FinTech and a solid theoretical background in finance. The focus is to equip them with the core knowledge and skills required to perform a range of roles within the evolving field of FinTech and the contemporary financial markets
    • develop finance professionals who possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects that drive the FinTech evolution and shape financial markets. More specifically, the course will equip the students with the coding and data analytics skills which will allow them to understand FinTech products and their applications to financial markets
    • combine FinTech and mainstream finance content. This balanced approach forms one of the distinctive characteristics of the course as it would allow the students to develop a comprehensive understanding of FinTech combined with solid foundations on financial theories and models

  • Applicant must have three and four-year Bachelors degrees with  60% (2.1) from other recognized universities or,
  • Applicants with Grades of 55% (2.1) from the University of Mumbai, the University of Kolkata and University of Delhi are also accepted or,
  • An undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honors degree (2.1 or above) containing some evidence of quantitative ability and applicants will require a solid foundation on quantitative methods that could have been acquired through modules completed during their undergraduate studies. Some examples of these modules can be Statistics, quantitative methods, financial mathematics, data analytics, and any coding-related modules or,
  • Applicants with grades of 50%+ in Masters degree from recognized universities in India
