The Master of Science in Financial Engineering and Risk Management degree is a cohort STEM program for students who want to learn the quantitative skills required to analyze financial information, engineer financial products, identify risks and manage risks.
The program is designed for students with or without a previous educational background in finance, but with a proclivity toward quantitative approaches to managerial issues.
The program also offers a series of workshops that prepare students for the workplace. These resources allow students to improve their quantitative and qualitative skills in analyzing financial data and managing risk.

Bachelors	3.0 GPA An undergraduate degree is required (all majors are considered). Students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) out of 4.0 in both core courses and in all graduate courses taken in the degree program, excluding program prerequisites to qualify for the MS degree. Students pursuing the Master of Science in Financial Engineering and Risk Management degree program are required to have completed course work in calculus, linear algebra, probability/statistics, and programming with a grade of "B" or better.
