  • The department requires a minimum of 2.75 GPA in upper-level undergraduate coursework and a GPA of 3.0 or above is recommended
  • The following guidelines for GPA conversion can be used:
    • GPA of 3.0 (four-year) or better or B average is equivalent to 65 percent for students from India
    • GPA of 2.8 to 3.0 is equivalent to 59 to 64 percent for students from India
  • Prerequisites required: Students are required to complete the following prerequisite courses in circuits, linear systems, and programming, digital electronics, microcomputers, semiconductors, electromagnetics, and control theory
  • Wayne State undergraduates with more than 3.0 undergraduate GPA receive automatic admission into the MS program
