  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor Science degree in any discipline of engineering with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • I addition, Regular admission into the M.S program requires the student to meet the following criteria:
    • Receive a positive recommendation by the coordinating committee of the biomedical engineering graduate program
    • Be accepted as a student by a member of the biomedical engineering graduate faculty
  • Prospective students with a non-engineering B.S. in the sciences or mathematics will also be considered for admission, but awarding of a graduate degree will be contingent upon satisfactory completion of remedial coursework to include calculus through differential equations, two semesters of college physics, one year of college chemistry, and six discipline-specific courses
    • The required remedial courses are specified at the time of admission
  • Special consideration may be given to exceptional students with a B.S. degree in engineering who may wish to bypass the M.S. in completing the requirements for the doctoral degree
