The BSc Sociology program explores specific examples of social action, social processes, and institutions; compare different types of social life and societies; examines theories about the nature of social existence and change; studies different methods of social research; and allows students to undertake research of their own
Students on this program also have the opportunity to receive a language specialism in French, Spanish, German, Mandarin or Russian
There are two compulsory courses in the second year and two options, one option must be from within sociology, while the other can be a course in another LSE department

Class 12th	85% Applicants must have passed 12th with an overall average of 85% across five subjects Required Subject: English, Maths
Exams	IELTS: 7 With a score of 7.0 in all four components PTE: 69 With a score of 69 in all four components
Additional info	Submit academic transcripts Personal statement- The applicant can write up to 4,000 characters of text, it may include the following:- Why the applicant is applying What makes the applicant suitable - any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work or other activities Why the applicant wants to study in the UK English language skills and any English courses or tests applicant have taken Why the applicant wants to be an international student rather than study in his/her own country Two written recommendation from a teacher, adviser or professional who knows applicant academically is required
