The program is concerned with the design of computers, computational processes and information transfer and transformation
Students will design and analyze software for many different applications, including networks, graphics, artificial intelligence and database systems
The program offers students the chance to focus their degree on either Software Engineering (SE) or Information Assurance (IA)
Graduates demonstrate the ability to analyze and solving complex technical problems from a broad perspective of computer science, including business, societal, and regulatory issues
Upon successful completion of the program, students may pursue a career as Computer Network Administrator, Database Administrator (DBA), Information Security Analyst, Information Technology Manager etc.

Laboratory science: three years total (one year each from any of the following areas are accepted: biology, chemistry, earth science, integrated sciences and physics).
