Bachelors	No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants must hold a bachelor degree with a GPA of 3.0 from courses taken for completion of the applicant’s undergraduate BS/BA degree Applicants with lower GPAs are considered only with extenuating circumstances Prerequisite courses: One year of majors' introductory coursework in biology and one course in each of the following areas: general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, calculus, genetics, evolution is required Applicants who have not taken one or more prerequisite courses may still be admitted with conditional status and will be required to take the course at Cal Poly
Exams	TOEFL: 80 IELTS: 6.5 GRE: Accepted GRE score should be at least 50^thpercentile or higher in each of the three sections (Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing) Biology GRE Subject Test is not required for admission
