The University of Valley Forge was established in 1939 and is a part of an international network of Assemblies of God colleges and universities. It is a private university with undergrad, graduate, and lifelong learning programs. The central goal is to prepare individuals for a life of service and leadership in the church and in the world. The University of Valley Forge offers more than 40 undergrad, six graduate, and ten associate programs in the Arts, Sciences, and Professional divisions.
Located 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia, the University of Valley Forge (UVF) campus is nestled in the heart of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The University has 27 instructional spaces on its main campus, including traditional classrooms, studios, and science labs.
Life Enrichment program offers an option to adult learners who shuffle a career and family, in addition to their educational aspirations. The Study Abroad program is another model where UVF can assist students with expanding their viewpoints by studying in other states, countries, and cultures. The current graduate academic offerings include graduate degree programs in Theology, Music Technology, Christian Leadership, Organizational Leadership, and Education.
The online system gives maximum convenience to allow flexibility along with personal educational experience. The University of Valley Forge’s Honors Programme offers admission to students with high academic accomplishments. Honors courses involve advanced writing, research, and basic reasoning abilities and give a strong foundation for graduate study.
College For a Day is a separately planned weekday visit for any high school student or graduate and their parents. The admission counselor makes a timetable for every guest, which includes classes, a campus tour, and lunch with a student host. Open House is a Saturday occasion for potential students and their parents, which includes a continental breakfast, a campus tour, learning about the spiritual and social life at the college, and connecting with faculty and students in specific fields of interest. Breakaway is a 24-hour overnight experience for high school students. They can go to the chapel and a variety of classes, meet personnel and staff, and participate in information sessions and other enjoyment exercises. The Student Government Association (SGA) and the Campus Activity Board (CAB) host on-campus events as well as day trips. They hold campus top choices events as well, for example, the Black and White Gala and Spring Banquet.
Scholarships are awarded based on the student’s demonstrated abilities, achievements, or due to membership within a special group. At UVF, thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded in categories like academic achievement, artistic achievement, church and ministry-related involvement, special group scholarships, and returning student scholarships.
