Being established in the year 1890, The University of Saint Francis is situated in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the U.S.A. It is a private liberal arts college bearing religious affiliation under the Catholic Church, i.e. Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration and academic affiliation under NCA. The university promotes Franciscan and Catholic values through its activities. It offers more than 70 academic programs including associate, bachelor’s, master’s degrees.

USF conducts associate degree courses in Radiologic Technology, Physical therapist assistant, Medical Laboratory, Surgical technology, Applied science. Bachelors degree courses, Major and Minor degree courses are also conducted in a host of other subjects. It is a liberal arts college in the true sense of the term.

Presently, the university has around 2,249 undergraduate and graduate students from 34 states and 9 countries. There are 128 full-time instructors at this university. All teachers are qualified, out of which 51% hold a doctorate/terminal degree. The university has an average class size of 17 students and the student to faculty ratio measures to 11:1. There are over 40 student clubs and organizations that function on the campus. They organize several types of activities, exhibitions, social welfare projects, etc. regularly, based on the interests of the student groups. So apart from academics, the university has other contributions as well that lead to the overall development of the students. The basic infrastructure of the university is noteworthy with strong faculty, a well-stocked library, well-equipped labs, etc.

There are multiple types of financial grants facilities available for the students (both national and international). These aids are in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, student employment, and Veteran Benefits. There is a “Pay It Forward” Scholarship, President’s Scholarship, Trustee’s Scholarship, Founder’s Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship, and Achievement Scholarship. Some additional scholarships include Catholic High School Scholarship, Legacy Scholarship, and Antoinette Murray Scholarship. Apart from these, there are several Endowed Scholarship opportunities as well as Outside Scholarship facilities too. Almost 95% of the students of USF receive some kind of financial aid.

The athletic division of the university is also commendable with teams playing Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Cross Country, Track & Field, Soccer, etc. both for men and women.
