Trinity Christian College situated in Palace Heights, Illinois is a Private Christian Liberal Arts College. The college was established in 1959 by a group of Chicago Businessmen and they aimed to build a college providing students with the Christian Higher Education in a reformed tradition as a college in Illinois. The college provides more than seventy programs of study. The college is headed by President Kurt Dykstra.
The college campus is spread across a vast area of 130 acres. The college provides a cohesive perspective to its principle curriculum of Technology, Philosophy, English, and History. The college also provides a 3-year Speech and Language Pathology program. The college provides 2 graduate-level programs, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Special Education. The college provides the graduate study Special Education program for the students who have completed an undergraduate degree and have a valid teaching license.
As per the academic year 2019-20, the college enrolled 1,175 students, of which 68% were female students and 32% were male students. It has an average class size of 20 students and the student to faculty ratio measures to 11:1.
The college is a member of the National Association of Inter College Athletics (NAIA) and competes and participates in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). The college also competes and participates in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The college caters to a varied range of sports activities for both women and men. The sports range from volleyball, baseball soccer, basketball, and cross-country for men and volleyball, basketball, softball, cross-country, soccer, and golf for women.
