Sydney Institute of Business and Technology or SIBT has been imparting education since 1997 and has produced over 25,000 successful graduates. The Foundation program offers a standard and extended program, the duration of which is 8 months and 12 months, respectively. Further, students who pass their first four recommended units of the Standard Foundation Program and achieve an overall average of a minimum of 70% are eligible to be transferred into the SIBT Diploma program.
The undergraduate programs include Diploma of Arts, Diploma of Business Administration, Diploma of Commerce, Diploma of Engineering, Diploma of Information Technology, and Diploma of Media and Communication. The student population is made up of a diverse range of students from both Australia and all over the world. In 2019, there are approximately 450 students studying a Diploma or Foundation program at SIBT.
SIBT students can progress directly to the second year of a bachelor’s university degree program. More than 90% of SIBT graduates progress to university programs. Also, fast-track studies are made available within eight months instead of 12 months. There is a superior student support system provided for by the institute. Students can study in the center of Sydney. SIBT further offers fee-help to Australian students. The institute also offers career services. Its alumni are present across the globe.
