St. Thomas University

St. Thomas University is a government-funded university established in the year 1910. The origin of this university dates back to the foundation of St. Thomas College, which maintained a high school and junior college status until 1934. However, on March 9, 1934, the provincial legislature granted this college degree-awarding authority and university status. This college was then renamed to St. Thomas University in the year 1960. Presently, this university has affiliations with several reputable national and international organizations, such as the Canadian Federation for the Humanities, Free Application for Federal Student Aid and Council of International Schools. This university offers bachelor’s degrees and certificate courses in various disciplines, including arts and social work.
