Queen Mary University of London

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is a public research institution which is located in London, in England. It is also recognized as a constituent college of the federal University of London. It was founded in the year 1785 as the London Medical College. In 1887, it was officially granted the status of a university. Of late, it is a member of the British research universities’ Russell Group, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Universities UK. The main campus of the Queen Mary University of London is situated in the Stepney area of Tower Hamlets while its other campuses are situated in Smithfield, Holborn, and Whitechapel.
