Platt College- Los Angeles opened in 1985. It has been offering service to Southern California for over 30 years. Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and Orange County have benefited a lot from this institution and continue to do so. It trains individuals in creative, medical, and legal fields. Financial aid is available to eligible students. It has been accredited by the ACCSC. Platt College has 4 campuses– the Alhambra Campus, Ontario Campus, Riverside Campus, and the Anaheim Campus. The Alhambra Campus encompasses about 40,000 square feet. It is situated very near to the 10 and 710 freeways at Fremont Avenue. It has design and computer labs, administrative space, and a library. Free parking, easy access to food and shopping centres are the perks of this campus. The Ontario campus is at Haven Avenue in the Inland Empire. This campus is built over 36,000 square feet of land.
The Riverside campus is situated beside the 60 and 215 freeways. It is right in the heart of Riverside. Restaurants and shopping centres are situated very near to the campus. This campus occupies about 23,000 square feet of space. It houses design labs, classrooms, student lounges, computer labs, libraries, administrative space, and medical labs. The Anaheim Campus is at the South Douglas Road, between 91 and 5 freeways. It has been made on 50,000 square feet of land and has design and computer labs, classrooms, administrative space, and libraries. Platt College has both campus-based programs and online programs. Campus-based programs include the School of Medical Sciences, School of Graphic Design, School of Business and Legal Studies, School of Information Technology, and Non-Degree Programs. The School of Medical Sciences provides training for Pharmacy Technician, Health Care Management, Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Specialist, Respiratory Therapy, Veterinary Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Health and Fitness Trainer, and Vocational Nursing. The School of Graphic Design offers degrees in Graphic Design and Visual Communications (2D Print, Web Design, and 3D Animation).
The school of Business and Legal Studies comprises Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, and Business Management. The School of Information Technology offers courses in Information Technology and Web Development Programming and Coding. Non-degree programs include Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate, Hemodialysis Technician Certificate, and Veterinary Technology Alt Route Certificate. Online programs include Veterinary Technology Associate’s Degree, Respiratory Therapy Bachelor’s Degree, Health Care Management Bachelor’s Degree, Veterinary Technology Alternate Route, Business Management Bachelor’s Degree, and Criminal Justice Bachelor’s Degree Program.
