North Seattle College, known as North Seattle worldwide, is a public institution that was established in 1970. It has around 318 academic staff members and 174 administrative staff members. North Seattle College publishes a newspaper known as The Polaris. The main campus of North Seattle College is located in the North College Park/Licton Springs neighborhood. It is in the Northgate district of Seattle. Around 11 acres of the 62-acre campus falls within the environmentally sensitive wetlands. The campus can be easily accessed from several King County Metro bus routes and Interstate 5. The campus is situated 5 miles north of the Seattle City Center.

In 1970, a library was founded on the campus. Presently, it has 174,000 volumes of media, books, and serials in the digital and physical collection. It also has over 40 databases providing various trade, newspaper, scholarly, and popular articles. This campus is well-equipped with high-end laboratories. It also has a cafeteria and dining hall, bookstore, indoor arena, gymnasium, and fitness and wellness center.

The types of financial aid offered by North Seattle College are Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Washington College Grant, North Seattle College Grants, Scholarships, Tuition Waivers, Federal & State Work-Study, Federal Perkins Loans, and Worker Retraining Financial Assistance (including Opportunity Grants).

Further, there are 6 college transfer degree programs to choose from. And, they are Associate of Arts Degree, Associate in Business, Associate of Science General, Associate of Science Option 1, Associate of Science Option 2, and Associate of Fine Arts. Career Training and Education programs offer programs in Accounting, Allied Health, Business, Early Childhood Education, Electronics, Engineering Graphics and Design, Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Real Estate, and Watch Technology.
