Established in 1831, New York University (NYU) is a private research university based in New York City. It is one of the biggest private higher education institutes in the United States. The university is known for its undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in social science, fine arts, nursing, and dentistry. The university welcomes students from 133 nationalities, including every state in the USA. From a student body of just 158, it has massively grown to more than 50,000 students today. Not just this, the institution has received 79,462 applications for its UG programs last year, making it the only university in the USA to achieve this record. NYU includes a number of schools and colleges and the College of Arts and Sciences is the largest amongst all.
