Being founded in the year 1959, Nassau Community College holds a record of imparting quality education. It is a public community college, located in the East Garden City of Nassau Country of New York. The institution has attained full accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, by proving itself worthy of it. The college currently has an approximate student strength of 20,000. NCC currently conducts 62 degree programmes and 20 certificate programmes spreading across nearly 80 fields of study.

The 225-acre beautiful campus provides Student Services Centre, Childcare, Food Services, Health Services, Library, Bookstore, Counselling Services. It is the biggest single-campus community college of the state and part of the State University of New York System. The institution is authorised by the Board of Regents to two-year associate degrees in Arts (AA), Science (AS) and Applied Science (AAS). It also maintains 25 NJCAA teams. Scholarship options are very much present in the college. Available NCC Scholarships include AFA, Alumni Association NCCFT, Prof. William O’Connell Memorial Scholarship, Cavallaro Scholarship, Chester N. Barkan Academic Excellence Scholarship. A number of schemes are prevalent in the institution that qualifies the candidates for availing of the scholarship opportunities, based on economic needs and academic performance.
