Established in 1809, Miami University is a residential public university. It is the second oldest public university in Ohio and the tenth oldest public university in the United States. Besides the main campus in Oxford, the university maintains regional centers in Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester and an international center in Luxembourg.

Miami offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in various disciplines. Various colleges and schools of the university include The College of Arts and Science; Farmer School of Business; College of Creative Arts, College of Education, Health and Society; College of Engineering and Computing, College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science, and the Graduate School. Approximately 15,000 undergraduates and 2,600 graduate students are enrolled at the Oxford campus.
