The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to hold the gold standard ‘triple-crown’ accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. In 2017, the School benefited from a £12 million extension, adding state-of-the-art facilities such as the new Bloomberg trading suite, as well as new lecture theatres and social spaces.
Divided into six subject groups, the School offers educational programs in marketing, accounting, and finance, economics, strategy international business and entrepreneurship, operations and supply chain, and work organization and management.
MBA students benefit from a dedicated MBA Suite that comes with a range of up-to-date facilities including audio-visual equipment, break-out spaces, a lecture theatre, careers interview rooms, presentation spaces, and social areas. Moreover, students can pursue popular undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs covering all the major management disciplines, including e-business, economics, marketing, operations, finance, and organizational behavior. Also, it allows students to indulge in core research activities.
The School, offering an international outlook and opportunities, is connected with the University’s partner institution in China, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). The Management School provides education to around 3,490 undergraduate students, 1,145 postgraduate students, and 106 research postgraduate students. The School has a total staff population of 300 members of which 216 are indulged in educational and research teaching and 38 full-time professors.
Other than this, from its establishment in the 1960s to the current date, the School has successfully graduated around 20,000 students. Alumni of the institute are successfully working in leading areas of business, management, and marketing including roles at Liverpool Football Club, KPMG, Maersk, UEFA, Deloitte, JP Morgan, and Standard Chartered bank.
The Management School offers a range of generous scholarships and study awards to help cover the cost of master’s tuition fees. Funding opportunities include full and part fee waivers, with specific scholarships for students from the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and West Africa
