Established in 1958 in Sylvania, Ohio, Lourdes is a private Catholic and Franciscan institution set up by the Sisters of St. Francis. It provides high-quality education in the field of professional studies. The institute is spread over an area of 127 acres and provides a sustainable and progressive campus for thousands of students enrolled in different courses. The college was initially founded as an extension campus for the College of St. Teresa, Winona, Minnesota. To educate the sisters of St. Francis in 1958, Lourdes Junior College was founded. The liberal arts institution was accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools in 1964. The apartment has a living room, kitchen with dining area, bedroom, bathroom and shower, air conditioning, and internet access. The library has a collection of 60,000 books and is named after a 13th-century Franciscan scholar. The library also shares its resources electronically. Athletics Lourdes University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and plays in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) offering 19 men’s and women’s sports. The university also offers multiple scholarships to the deserving candidates in esports, campus ministry, athletics, band, and academics.
