Huron University College

Founded in the year 1863, Huron University College was originally known as Huron College. It was in the year 2000 that the university changed its name to the present one. The first batch of classes in the university started on January 9, 1864, with a total of two teachers and 13 students. Presently, the university provides education in various lucrative disciplines, including political science, psychology, history, economics, and English. The university was founded by Bishop Benjamin Cronyn and is affiliated to The University of Western Ontario.

Located near the University of Western Ontario, Huron University College’s campus features a plethora of student-friendly amenities. These amenities ensure that students and staff members have a well-balanced academic and non-academic life. Huron University College has contributed in the making of writer and artist Norman Elder, Canadian historian Janice MacKinnon and politician Paul Macklin. The college maintains a strong relationship with its graduates and offers them many alumni benefits. Alumni from the institute received several awards of distinction.
