Houston Community College

Being established in the year 1971, Houston Community College, also called Houston Community College system, is actually a community college system that operates community colleges across Houston, Missouri City, Greater Katy and Stafford in Texas. It holds its affiliation under the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The institution has 23 commuter campuses.

The university has the capacity to conduct courses in several streams of study. The basic departments include-Art & Design; Business; Construction, Industry & Manufacturing; Public Safety, Transportation & Consumer Services; Liberal Arts, Humanities & Education; Health Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering & Math; Social & Behavioural Sciences.

The Houston Community College holds a record of offering top-notch educational facilities at an affordable price. It trains up its candidates to face the current technological world on a global platform without much difficulty. The current student strength enrolled under the institution is approximately over 80,000.

Apart from imparting knowledge and education, HCC has several supporting services keeping the variety of needs of its students. A number of scholarship facilities are prevalent in the institution both for national and international students. The scholarships awarded by the Financial Aid are—Chancellor Scholarship, Eagle Promise-Free Degree Programme, Honours College Scholarship and Impact Scholarship. HCC Foundation Scholarships are the Scholarships awarded by HCC Foundation and International F-1 Student HCC Foundation Scholarships.
