Grossmont College is in El Cajon, California. It was set up in 1961 and is a public community learning institution. One-third of east county adults have attended Grossmont or Cuyamaca colleges. Along with Cuyamaca college, Grossmont forms the community college. The easily accessible location of the college makes it approachable by a larger community of its locals.
