Founded by the Society of Jesus in 1942, Fairfield University is a private Jesuit university located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The Catholic-affiliated school utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and requires the students to be above average in their high school grades to be considered for admission. They need a GPA of above 3.65. However, students can compensate for a lower GPA by having higher SAT and ACT scores.
Fairfield University has four undergraduate schools and colleges that offer a vast array of courses led by a team of nationally and internationally recognized faculty.
