Founded by the Society of Jesus in 1942, Fairfield University is a private Jesuit university located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The university is proud to be spreading knowledge for the last 78 years and students can choose from over 43 majors and 19 minor available with the school curriculum. The Catholic-affiliated school utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and requires the students to be above average in their high school grades to be considered for admission. They need a GPA of above 3.65. However, students can compensate for a lower GPA by having higher SAT and ACT scores.
