Established in the year 1879, Columbus College for Art and Design is one of the oldest universities in the country. It is a private college of design and art. It is an accredited member of The National Association of Schools of Art and Design and The Higher Learning Commission.
The subjects offering in the major include Advertising and Graphic Design; Animation; Comics and Narrative Practice; Fashion Design; Film and Video; Fine Arts; Game Art and Design; History of Art and Visual Culture; Illustration; Industrial Design; Interior Architecture and Design; Photography. There are provisions for acquiring a Master of Design and Master of Fine Arts degrees. The 12 bachelor’s degrees and 2 master’s degree courses cover a wide range of subjects.
