New international student merit scholarships are available: $2,000 – 5,000 based on GPA. An international student transfer scholarship of up to $5,400 is available for students transferring from Washington State community colleges. Students who start their programs online due to COVID-19 with plans to transfer to the US are also eligible for these scholarships, and the scholarship can be used for online classes.

- Master of Business Administration (MBA): CityU is one of the top three MBA producing schools in Washington State. Students in the MBA program can choose between emphasis areas in finance, marketing, project management, and global management

No GRE/GMAT scores are required for admission. Language assisted MBA classes are available for students needing extra English help. Conditional admission is also available. Most programs start four times a year: January, April, July, and October; you can apply up to two months prior to each start date.
CityU has a student-only residence hall located a ten-minute walk from campus in downtown Seattle. CityU has been offering high-quality online classes for many years. CityU was ranked in the top 50 Best Online Bachelor Programs in the U.S. for 8 years (2013-2020) by U.S. News & World Report. Online classes can be a good option until the COVID-19 situation improves, and online classes at CityU are cheaper than in-person classes.
If you apply to be an F-1 student and are taking online classes full-time abroad, this time counts towards accruing the one year of classes necessary to qualify for OPT. CityU’s summer quarter classes will be online, and the fall quarter has yet to be decided. Apply for the quarter you intend to study, and you can always take online classes if necessary, or defer to the next quarter.
