Campbell University

Established in the year 1887 by J.A.Campbell, a Baptist minister, Campbell University is a public university serving the Buies Creek region of North Carolina. The institution currently has the highest number of North Carolinian enrollment. Campbell University bears religious affiliation from the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and academic affiliation from the NAICU. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Commission on Colleges.

The university conducts associate degree and bachelor’s degree programs under the undergraduate curriculum, divided across a wide range of majors and minors. The principal academic departments are dedicated to subjects, including accounting, chemistry and physics, biology, Christian studies, professional education, business administration, clinical research, communication studies, criminal justice, cybersecurity, economics, engineering, English, exercise science, finance, nursing, pre-pharmacy, art, healthcare management, history, homeland security, information technology and security, international business, marketing, mathematics, music, PGA golf management, pharmaceutical sciences, political science, psychology, professional education, social science, social work, foreign language, and trust and wealth management.

Under the curriculum of graduate and professional studies, there includes College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Divinity School, Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and School of Education. Under C.U., there are also provisions for adult and online education programs. The courses conducted under this curriculum include bachelor’s, graduate, associate, professional, and certificate programs. Students can avail of financial aid opportunities under this university based on their eligibility.

There are several types of scholarship opportunities too along with the students’ work-study program. The university provides state-of-the-art infrastructure along with strong academic support services, several campus recreational services, career guidance services, counseling services, and spiritual activities. Several active student clubs and organizations function on the campus, engaging students in a wide variety of interesting activities throughout the year. The institution also maintains a dance team.

The athletic division of Campbell University is also commendable. The men’s sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track, and field (indoor and outdoor), and wrestling. The women’s sports include basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field (indoor and outdoor), and volleyball. The university maintains a football stadium, basketball arena, baseball stadium, and soccer stadium.
