Bergen Community College aims at providing affordable, comprehensive and convenient education to students. It has three sites, namely Paramus; which is the main campus located in Bergen County, New Jersey; Hackensack is the Ciarco Learning Center and Lyndhurst in the Meadowlands. It has over 32000 students enrolled in degree, adult education and continuing programs. It creates a healthy atmosphere that ensures comprehensive learning.
Since its establishment in 1965, it has served thousands of students. It offers a variety of courses in different fields, such as Liberal Arts, Computer Programming and Nursing. It has an active athletic division as well. The sports team is called the Bulldog as a tribute to James J. Braddock.
It is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association in the New Jersey area as well as the Garden State Athletic Conference. Bergen Community College has 12 different sports team giving students a chance to explore their passion. It has highly trained faculty members. It maintains a healthy 19:1 student-teacher ratio ensuring. Faculty members ensure that all students get proper attention. Its alumni include names like Daisy Fuentes, Mike Laga and Vincent Prieto.
