In 1845, the president of the Republic of Texas signed the charter to officially establishing Baylor University. The university is the state’s oldest continually operating educational institution. It is a prestigious private Christian university. It consists of 12 academic colleges and schools. The university holds the accreditation of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC). Also, many programmes offered by it are approved by various relevant professional bodies and organizations.
Nestled along the banks of Brazos River in the city of Wako in Texas, the Baylor University campus is spread across 1000 acres.
