Anderson University is a Private Christian Liberal Arts University. The university was founded in 1917 and is recognized by the Church of God (Anderson Indiana). Also, it is a member of the Independent Colleges of Indiana Society and Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
Situated in Indiana, the U.S., the university provides undergraduate Liberal Arts majors and graduate courses in Theology, Business, and Music. Notably, its campus is spread across an area of 100 acres. The university occupies 23 main campus buildings, including seven academic buildings, six residence halls, and the 132,000-square-feet Kardatzke Wellness Center. The university maintains the Kissinger Academic Centre for Excellence (KACE), which is an academic support center that assists students to maximize their diverse potential. The center provides both individualized and group programs to help students in learning strategies for writing and reading. The university also offers private scholarship and research grants inclusive of funds from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and Lily Endowment. The university provides various opportunities in special interest areas, fine arts, academics, and athletics. Students are allowed to run social clubs that organize service projects and annual events. Also, they participate in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NCAA Division III. The university maintains men’s sports teams for swimming, football, soccer, basketball, girls, baseball, and lacrosse. The university also has women’s sports teams for tennis, softball, volleyball basketball soccer, swimming, and golf.
Individualized and small group tutoring is also provided in various subjects. The university also organizes workshops, study groups, counseling services, health services, and disability services for students (DSS). The university has a Cultural Resource Centre, also known as ‘The House’, to educate students about cultural humility, inclusion, learning, and leadership development.
