Established in 2001, Alliant International University is a private institution that is formed by the collaboration of two institutions, namely the United States International University and California School of Professional Psychology. The university is associated with Bertelsmann Group. It has been listed in GI Job’s Magazine in 2013. It is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). In 2010, the Law School of San Francisco became a part of the university.
The university maintains the main campus in San Diego. It has five other California locations: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco. The campuses provide all the required facilities to students. For students’ convenience, the campuses are located close to departmental stores, stationery shops, and chemist shops. The academic structure of the university comprises several schools, namely the School of Professional Psychology, School of Management & Leadership, the School of Education, the School of Forensic studies, and the School of Law. The university has well-experienced faculty members. Students are taken for industrial visits so that they gain the required practical knowledge. Students also get a chance to attend workshops conducted by industry experts. The university also participates in student exchange programs which gives them a wide scope to learn about a different curriculum and work as interns under professionals. The university has a sports team named The Gulls.
