Established in 1896, Adelphi University is a premier private university in Garden City, New York, US. It is the oldest institution in the sphere of higher education in suburban Long Island and has additional centres in Manhattan, Suffolk County and Hudson Valley. Students can pursue undergraduate, graduate and joint degree programmes at the university’s eight academic schools/colleges. The programmes encompass diverse areas of education like psychology, business, anthropology, biology, communication, economics, nutrition and computer science.

Adelphi also received the Eduventures Innovation Award from the National Research Centre for College and University Admissions (NRCCUA) in 2018.

Notably, famous personalities like Frances Perkins (former United States Secretary of Labor) and Paul Moravec (a composer and winner of the Pulitzer Prize) have been members of Adelphi’s faculty in the past. Moreover, the students of the university have been placed in renowned organisations such as IBM Global Business Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, GEICO and Marks Paneth. Notably, some of Adelphi University’s students have also secured admission in acclaimed graduate schools like Columbia University, Harvard University and Yale University.
