  • The course analyses issues in health policy and health services using epidemiological and statistical tools to critically review evidence
  • Students have the opportunity to take part in a study visit to Geneva, attending workshops and meetings with international NGOs (historically these have included WHO and UNAIDS) – 12 month and 18 month variants available with the 18 month option including a 6 month international research project
  • The Course is also available as a PGCert and PGDip

  • Applicant must have a medical degree or bachelor degree with a 2:2 (hons) or equivalent qualification in a related discipline (eg medicine, health, science, social sciences, management or administration)
  • In exceptional cases, extensive work experience in health services or health systems for applicants who do not fully meet the stated academic requirements may be accepted

  • Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ work experience in a health service or developing health system in a low-middle income country

  • With no less than 6.0 in each section

PTE: 64
  • With at least 60 in each of the skills

  • Applicants with a 70-75% in English in 12th depending on state board can fulfill English language proficiency
