Students will be provided with a high-quality overview of the techniques of modern mechanical engineering, presenting examples of use from a wide range of disciplines and industries
The research project undertaken as part of the MSc Mechanical Engineering course is industrially relevant and the topics of the course are of high industrial relevance
During the second-year students will undertake either Industry placement or an industry-focused project with an industrial partner
It covers the development of mechanical engineering tools, methods and techniques for problem-solving
Students will study courses like Strategic Project Planning, Additive Manufacturing, Entrepreneurship for Engineers, Optimisation and Reliability and Composite Materials

Bachelors	60.0% Applicants usually hold a 2:1 honours degree (or above) in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar relevant engineering or science discipline (for example, physics or mathematics) Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with: 55%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 6 (7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system)
