  • This course gives students the chance to look in-depth at how strategy is formulated, articulated, and enacted in a global context
  • Students will develop their skills in critical analysis, information processing, and data presentation. They will prepare for a range of careers in international business and management, with the skills and outlook to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global workplace
  • In the first term, students will study some of the core issues in strategic management. They will develop a theoretical toolkit with which to investigate and discuss the strategies used in the international business environment
  • In the Spring Term, students will choose an optional module to develop a deeper understanding of an area of international strategic management
  • From the Summer Term, students will focus their efforts on a final 8,000-word dissertation. The dissertation is an opportunity to exhibit the skills and knowledge they have developed throughout the year, as a capstone to their studies in international strategic management

  • Applicants are expected to hold 2:1 or equivalent in any subject
  • The university may give preference to students with knowledge of relevant areas, including Management or Business Studies, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or any social science
  • Alternatively, the university may accept a 2:2 undergraduate degree supported by professional qualifications or at least one year of relevant work experience

  • With 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in all other components

  • With 61 in Writing and 55 in all other components

Additional info
  • Applicants may not need to provide evidence of ELP if they have completed a degree within two years of  their start date which has been taught in English
    • They will need to provide official confirmation from the institution where they completed their degrees that the medium of instruction was in English
