    • Corrosion 
    • Fluid Mechanics- includes Multiphase pipeline flow, rheology and fluidization
    • Reaction Engineering- includes studies in conversion of biomass and other waste materials to synthesis gas and value-added bioproducts, biodiesel production and utilization, alkylation and isomerization to value-added bio-products, hydrotreating of heavy gas oil, conversion of mercaptans and hydrogen sulphide on carbon catalysts, production and utilization of activated carbon and production and applications of carbon nano-tubes, the development of renewable source of energy and chemicals from biomass-derived oils under catalytic reaction conditions
