This course will provide an in-depth understanding of the disease processes involved in malignancy and the opportunity to explore the scientific rationale for various therapeutic options
It will allow students to link academic knowledge with the practical applications of cancer biology, with a focus on the latest advances in this field
This course is, therefore, excellent preparation for a wide variety of careers in hospital laboratories, commercial laboratories, cancer research, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions
Students will study the biology of disease, tumor biology, immunology, molecular oncology, hematological malignancy, plus diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for cancer

Bachelors	55.0% Applicants must have 2:2 or a good honours degree or equivalent with a core biology content; biomedical science; molecular biology; biotechnology; biology; physiology; biochemistry; pharmaceutical science; medicine; veterinary medicine; dentistry; or pharmacy Other biology and medical science degrees will be considered on an individual basis Applicants with professional experience may be eligible
Exams	IELTS: 6.5 With 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking PTE: 58 With no element below 58
Additional info	Copies of transcripts and certificates ELP requirement may be waived for applicants who have passed 12th English with a minimum of 70% Two references, at least one of which should be an academic reference (eg a college/university tutor or course director).
