MSc in Artificial Intelligence aims to impart the understanding and skills to develop intelligent software applications, such as those involving evolutionary computation and learning
Students will develop skills in specialist areas with clear applications in industry, including data mining, pattern recognition, and machine learning
Students will acquire critical skills and knowledge in Data Mining and Machine Learning, Biologically Inspired Computation, as well as applicable skills concerning applications of Artificial Intelligence to the world wide web and (optionally) computer games
Plan and execute a significant project of research, investigation or development in a specialist area within artificial intelligence, demonstrating an extensive, detailed and critical understanding of that specialism
In the third semester (May-August) students undertake a specialist MSc project which is written up as a 15000 word dissertation

Bachelors	No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants must have a good honors degree with a substantial academic component of Computing or IT with an overall score of 55% or above Applicants whose grades are slightly lower than this (52% or above) might get consideration and this will depend on other factors (such as the university that awarded the degree, any relevant work experience, the quality of the references they can provide etc)

Additional info	ELP will be waived for applicants who have completed first degree in English
