- Applicants must have a good Honours degree (2:1) with 60%-69% in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics, or a closely related subject
- Equivalent overseas qualifications will be considered
- Alternative backgrounds, such as vocational training complemented with sufficient relevant industrial experience and continued professional development will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
- For most of the Master's level programs, the university requires a good first degree in a relevant subject. From most Indian Universities, this means an overall score of 55% or above
- Students whose grades are slightly lower than this (52% or above) will also be considered, depending on other factors (such as the university that awarded the degree, any relevant work experience, the quality of the references )
