MSc Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Industry

Students will develop specialist skills aligned with the College of Engineering’s research interests and reflecting the needs of the electronics industry
Modules of the program can also be studied as stand-alone modules for those who are in employment seeking professional development or further knowledge in particular subject fields
During the second-year students will undertake either Industry placement or an industry-focused project with an industrial partner
Students will study courses like Power Semiconductor Devices, Advanced Power Electronics and Drives, Wide Band-Gap Electronics, Power Generation Systems and Modern Control Systems

Bachelors	60.0% Applicants usually hold a 2:1 honours degree (or above) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a similar relevant engineering or science discipline Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with: 60%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 6(7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system)
Exams	IELTS: 6.5 With no component less than 5.5 PTE: 58 With 51 in each component
Additional info	ELP Waiver:- Applicants with 70% marks in English in 12th from Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) from (CBSE) or Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) from (CISCE); or Indian School Certificate (ISC) from (CISCE) can fulfill ELP requirement Applicants must show that they have also studied their Bachelor's degree in English. A letter confirming the Medium of Instruction is required from University unless it clearly states on the marks sheets/transcripts that all teaching has been conducted in English
