  • This one-year MSc is designed to equip students with these skills, as well as helping them acquire their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level II professional qualification
  • The core modules embed training in financial programming languages including VBA, R, and Matlab and provide hands-on experience with the Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters EIKON platforms
  • The career skills module will help students’ improve their financial writing, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • In autumn, students will prepare for the December CFA Level I exam or, if they already have CFA Level I, they will have the option to take the Financial Risk Manager Level 1 exam and In summer they will prepare for the June CFA Level II exam

  • Applicants must have a 2:1 Hons degree (UK or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting with a significant number of Finance and/or Quantitative modules studied
  • At least 3 years of bachelor's degree is required
  • At least 60% overall, with at least 55% in each year (year 2 onwards)
  • Graduates in other areas may also be considered if they have already passed the CFA level I exam

  • With a minimum of 6.0 in each element of the test

PTE: 65
  • With a minimum of 50 in each component of the test
