The master’s program in Environmental Engineering provides students with a broad understanding of environmental issues such as the links between natural and industrial ecosystems and the tools to measure conditions such as pollutants and their movement
The degree allows flexibility in program design, specialization and opportunities for employment with major corporations, government agencies and private consulting and construction firms
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Specify or design and experiment to meet a need, conduct the experiment, and analyze and explain the resulting data;
- Identify, formulate, and solve complex environmental problems by selecting and applying appropriate tools and techniques; and
- Synthesize advanced technical knowledge in a traditional or emerging area of knowledge in a specialized area of environmental engineering
