- Master of Engineering in petroleum systems engineering is offered in two formats:
- Project based option – it is project based program which majorly attracts practicing engineers
- Co-op option – it combines academic experience with on-the-job experience to enhance professional development. It includes 12 extra credit hours along with the 30 credit hours
- Areas of specializations: enhanced oil recovery (EOR), reservoir modeling and simulation, heavy oil recovery through SAGD and VAPEX processes, miscible and immiscible displacement, fluid-rock interactions, and underground storage of carbon dioxide in depleted or partially-depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs
