Students will study the fundamentals of mechanics and materials, vibration analysis, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
Students learn to design, integrate and analyze mechanical, control and feedback systems and processes
The Mechanical Engineering curriculum consists of a combination of core courses with a series of technical electives that allow students to obtain some specialization in a particular area of the field depending on their interests and expected future professional activity
Co-op program included in program gives students the chance to complete paid work terms that last 12 to 16 weeks
Mechanical engineering alumni have established careers in a range of fields like project management positions in manufacturing, machinery, automotive design, transportation, power generation, and management, or robotics and biomechanics
