  • Applicants should have an above-average academic record at least equivalent to a "B-" average (2.60 out of 4.00) or be in the top 60% of their class with suitable academic preparation
  • Students should also complete the following core courses with a “C” average or above:
    • 4 years of English
    • 3 years of advanced math—Algebra I and higher
    • 3 years of laboratory science 
    • 3 years of social science 
    • 1 year of fine arts (or AP Fine Arts score of 3 or above) Includes vocal, instrumental and studio arts
    • Basic computer skills (students should have basic keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet and internet skills)
  • Students who are homeschooled or attend a non-accredited high school must submit an official transcript and ACT or SAT scores for review
    • SAT Math and Reading/Writing subscores must total 950 or higher
