Students can take courses in one area to receive a concentration in accounting, finance, human resource management, information systems, marketing or public management
M.B.A. curriculum provides students with a comprehensive professional education that prepares them for responsible leadership and management positions in business and public service
Teaching methods used include lectures, discussions and case studies. Strong faculty and student involvement and interaction in and out of the classroom are designed to improve students’ leadership, team-building, critical thinking and communication skills
Students can complete the MBA program coursework in approximately two to three years depending on the pace of coursework that they choose

Bachelors	3.0 GPA Students with a bachelors degree below GPA of 3.0 must also submit the following: A résumé Two letters of recommendation (letters can be emailed to gofurther@hood.edu) Prerequisite: Calculus and Accounting Students must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least a 2.75-grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. Students with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.7 may be considered on a case-by-case basis Students who did not take courses in business administration at the undergraduate level must complete the following foundation courses: Foundations of Economics Management Theory Quantitative Methods for Managers Foundations of Accounting Legal Environment of Business Statistics for Management or Statistics

Additional info	Students will need to submit official documents to the NACES member Submit an essay (250 words or less) that includes background experience and future goals All students enrolled in the MBA program are required to have a Chalk and Wire account. The student will be billed for a non-refundable onetime only fee of $95 to receive a four-year-plus license to Chalk and Wire
