  • Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in computer science from a regional accrediting body or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution with at least a 2.80 cumulative grade point average (4.00 scale)
  • Applicants without computer science degree are required to complete the below prerequisite courses:
    • Applicants must have a strong background in Introduction to Computer Architecture or Computer Architecture Fundamentals, Introduction to Software Engineering(only for students in the CIS concentration), Data Structures & Algorithms, Introduction to Discrete Structures, Introduction to Theoretical Computer Science, Operating Systems – only for students in the general CS program (not CIS)
    • Applicants are also expected to have a good background in Calculus I and II, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics
